In-Spite Of My Pain, You Deserve My Praise

David declared in Psalm 34:1, "I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth."

"I will"  is a statement of choice. David was saying regardless of my current struggle, stress, or mess (that I may have caused or created), "I will bless the Lord at all times".

"At all times" is indicative of unfavorable situations and circumstances that could prevent me from praising God. David had an understanding of Gods Deity, Sovereignty, and Authority.

Based on this knowledge, he knew that no matter what was going on, or going wrong in his life, God still deserved His praise. Somebody need to tell God today, In-Spite of my pain, You deserve my praise.

In Habakkuk Chapter 3:17-19, we find the Prophet experiencing a famine in more ways than one.

Verse 17, Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold , and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

Verse 18, Yet will I rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

Verse 19, The Lord God is my strength, and He will make my feet like hinds feet, and He will make me to walk upon my high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Habakkuk was in a serious time of distress and unrest, but he remembered the goodness and faithfulness of his God. These memories gave him hope and expectation that a change in his favor was sure to come. Therefore, he gave God praise in advance for what he knew He was about to do on his behalf.

Yes times are rough and tough, and you may be in a difficult place right now. However, I want to encourage you to give God praise for what He has done, and is about to do on your behalf.

Consider these Praise Points:

1. Because of Your love, grace, mercy, peace, protection, and provision; You deserve my praise.

2. Because You have been, and will continue to be my strongtower; You deserve my praise.

3. Because You are my refuge and very present help in times of trouble; You deserve my praise.

4. Because You are my light and my salvation; You deserve my praise.

5. Because You caused my soul to escape the snare of the fowler; You deserve my praise.

6. Because You are my hope, and always making a way for me; You deserve my praise.

7. Because You did not allow the enemy to triumph over me; You deserve my praise.

8. Because You, and You alone are God; You deserve my praise.

Therefore, I won't let the pain of what I'm walking through right now stop my praise. I won't let my problems steal my praise. I won't let persecution mute my praise, and I won't let my struggles stifel my praise.

We need to tell God today, In-Spite of my pain, You deserve my praise.

Prayer: Father, I thank You for Your goodness, mercy, love and faithfulness to (us) Your people. You are never a day late, or a dollar short. You always show up on time, and in time to arrest, address, and then bless our situation.

Thank You Father for doing just that. Thank You for ministering to the needs and wants of Your people. You are still our good, good Father, and You love taking good care of Your children.

I pray encouragement for every discouraged heart and mind. Help them to remember that trouble don't last always, and help is on the way.

Release Your Angels to war, cover, and protect Your people. Release them to work supernaturally on behalf of Your people. Release them to bring supernatural and natural blessings to Your people.

I pray the prayer of salvation for those that don't know You. May they accept Your Son, Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of their life. Fill them with Your precious Holy Spirit, and empower them to live a successful Christian life. In Jesus Name. Amen.
